Thank you to everyone who supported St. Catherine's Swiss Steak Supper. If you are a member of St. Catherine's Circle and have not yet paid your dues, please do so as soon as possible.

If you would like a relaxing afternoon of playing 500, join the card party on Monday, April 24, at 1:30PM in the Notre Dame Parish Hall. The group currently meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays, providing the Hall is available. Watch for future announcements.

We welcome Casen John McAllister, son of Austin and Haley McAllister, who was baptized on March 26th. We also welcome Jonathan Keune who was received into the Catholic Church on March 26th.

Candidates are needed for Pastoral Council and Catholic School Board elections. If you would like to share your time and talent wiht Notre Dame through either of these Boards, please contact the Parish Office at 563-547-3565.

On April 20th from 4:30-7PM, there will be the St. Catherine's Spring Dinner. Come enjoy a dinner of swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, coleslaw, rolls, and homemade pies and desserts. Coffee and milk will be served as well. Adults are $15 and ages 6-12 are $10. It will be served in the Parish Hall with carryouts being available.

If you are interested in making rosaries for the missions or if you crochet or knit and would like to make prayer shawls, please contact the Parish Office at 563-547-3565. Materials and instructions for both are provided.

Mark your calendars and register for the annual Archdiocesan Women's Conference on January 28th. Notre Dame is a virtual host site for this conference. There will be door prizes and a light breakfast and lunch served.

The directories are available in the front entrance of the church for all who had their picture taken for the directory. They are labeled on the top right corner. If you did not have your picture taken for the directory and would like to purchase a copy, please contact the parish office at 563-547-3565.

All school aged children and teens are welcome to sing in the Youth Choir at the 8AM Mass on Christmas Day. See attachment for more details and to register.

This year's theme is "Bolder, Prouder, Stronger Reader", and there is still time to attend and purchase gifts for the young ones in your life. It will be open in the school library from 8:15am-7:30pm from Nov 7-9 and 8:15am-Noon on Nov 10th. Contact the school at 563-547-4513 for more information.

A Father & Son BBQ was held in our parish hall on October 23rd to celebrate St. John Paul II's feast day on October 22nd! Thank you to all who attended and a huge thank you to our Family Ministry Committee for coming up with, planning and serving at these wonderful events to bring our parish family together!

The September Reverse Collection has generated 580 pounds of food items and 146 pounds of personal care items/soap products. We are very appreciative and grateful to the Notre Dame parishioners for their generous and ongoing support of the NEICAC Howard County food pantry to allow us to continue to serve the hungry in our community. We appreciate the church and the parishioners for this great donation.

Wee Families will meet this Sunday, October 16th from 4:30-5:00PM in the church. This is a wiggle-friendly ministry for children ages 1-5 and their families. We will have a short and sweet Tiny Tour of the Church based on the sacraments and then end with an activity, milk and cookies in the parish hall. No registration required and free to attend.

The Into the Deep video for October was posted on the parish YouTube page. The topic for October is "Why should I get married in the Catholic Church?" We will have a group discussion based on the video on October 16th at 7PM by the tabernacle. All are welcome to attend.

We need God and the rosary more than ever. Join us on Saturday, October 15th at Noon in the church to pray the rosary for America. If there is a funeral, etc., the rally will be held at Norb and Mary Gansen's. For more information, call Mary Gansen at 563-547-5495. All ages are welcome to join.

Football Mania tickets are for sale again. This assists funding for field trips, enrichment activities, technology and other curriculum needs. Their goal is to sell 1,000 tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the school office, or they are available from K-6 grade students.
