Rake and Run is a service project and a race that will take place on October 18th from 3-5PM. Due to the nature of the event, we need everyone to understand that safety is of our utmost concern. Teams are expected to make the lawn look nice and how they would want their own lawn to look before they leave the premises. Houses must be registered and approved by the parish office in order for their lawn to be raked. All safety hazards to our team must be removed from the lawn during the time frame listed above. If you have any pets, please keep them inside or kenneled during this time. If there is a safety hazard or pet on your lawn, the team will go on to the next house. There is a chance your lawn may not be raked depending on the amount of houses we have registered and the time it takes for the teams to rake the other lawns. Each registered lawn is expected to provide their own lawn bags for the team to use and place on the curb. Please have these bags outside on the lawn along with any instructions you have for the team. Teams are not permitted to accept monetary donations for their work.
